Does Medicare cover house calls?
Short answer: yes, for medically necessary visits from a Medicare-enrolled provider. We are enrolled.
A house call is billed as a home visit, the same kind of primary care visit your parent would get in an office, in the place they live. Medicare Part B covers it when the visit is medically necessary.
Your parent does not have to be homebound to see us. The homebound rule applies to home health agencies, not to a provider coming out for a visit. If leaving the house is hard, that's reason enough to call.
What your parent owes depends on their plan. It might be a deductible, coinsurance, or nothing at all. Give us the plan name when you call and we'll look into it.

Do you take Medicaid?
Yes, for eligible patients, including Amerigroup.
Does Medicare pay for the labs and imaging you order?
Mobile labs, X-ray, ultrasound and EKG are billed by the company that performs them, under your parent's own coverage. We order the tests and review the results.
Are electronic visits covered?
Coverage for visits handled electronically depends on the plan. Ask us when you call and we'll tell you what applies.
