1. What this program is

Cardinal Rehab Services Inc. dba DFW House Calls ("DFW House Calls", "we", "us") sends text messages to patients about their own care. We do not sell, rent or share the numbers, and we do not send marketing texts.

2. What we text about

  • Appointment scheduling and reminders
  • Prescription notifications
  • Remote monitoring check-ins
  • Links to join a video visit

We do not text about anything else.

3. How often

Message frequency varies. It depends on how often the patient is seen and which of the services above they are using, so there is no fixed number per week or month.

4. Cost

We do not charge for these messages. Standard message and data rates from your mobile carrier may apply.

5. Stopping the messages

Reply "STOP" or "UNSUBSCRIBE" to any message, or call us, and we will stop texting that number.

6. Getting help

Reply "HELP" to any message, or call the office at the number above.

7. Consent is never a condition of care

Agreeing to text messages is not required to become a patient, to be seen, or to take part in any service we offer. Declining does not affect what care a patient receives. If you decline, we will reach you another way.

8. Delivery

Messages are carried by mobile networks we do not operate. Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages, and delivery is not guaranteed. Do not rely on a text message for anything urgent. If you have a medical emergency, call 911.

9. Changing your number

Tell us if a patient's mobile number changes or is given up. Numbers get reassigned, and we do not want to text somebody else about a patient's care.

10. Privacy

How we handle this information is described in our Privacy Policy, including the section on SMS and text messaging. We do not share SMS data with third parties for marketing purposes.

11. How we collect consent

Consent is given on our referral form at referral.dfwhousecalls.com. Nothing is pre-selected, the texting question is asked on its own, and it names the number it covers. We store the wording shown, the answer, that number and the date, so we can always show you what you agreed to.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. Changes are effective when posted here, and the date above says when they last changed.
